Wonderful Weekend
We had a wonderful weekend. We met Brad & Linda at the Taste of Chicago where we sampled some of Chicago's finest cuisine then joined ~350,000 of our closest friends for a live concert by Stevie Wonder. He was amazing! I really enjoyed when he sang "Isn't she lovely?" to his grown daughter who was the subject of the song as a baby and who now is one of his backup singers. If only the Cubs had done better in Part II of the Crosstown Classic against the Sox then it would have been a truly wonderful weekend ... The Cubs swept the Sox the weekend before at Wrigley Field but were swept by the Sox this weekend at Cellular Field. Oh well, it's only mid season.
