Hallowed Ground

I recently learned that I work on hallowed ground. My office at UIC is at the site of the old West Side Grounds, where the Chicago Cubs last won the World Series in 1908! Enter my work address in Google Earth, then click on the note icon just below my location and you'll see the note shown in this picture. According to this site the entrance to my office is where the old ticket office used to be!
