What were we THINKING?!?

We agreed to take in my wife's nurses 2 year old Bichon-Poo (a mix of purebred Bichon Frise with a purebred poodle). The previous owner is moving into a new apartment, and the landlord told her after she signed the lease that she couldn't have pets (new carpet). Anyway, "Mya" and our dog Cassie played together well, once Mya understood this was Cassie's house! Mya is about ~25% bigger than Cassie, though only 14 pounds (Cassie's 10.5 pounds; Mya's "size" may be more hair than fact!). They chase each other around the house, and jostle for prime seating on laps & sofas. Of course, our 15 year old cat, Milo, is none too happy with this, and has retreated to the basement.

Miya woke me twice during the night, even though I'd taken her out to pee several times before bed. We'll see how it goes.... More pictures to follow (if we keep her).
