SpaceShipOne at Oshkosh Experimental Aircraft Association/AirVenture
My friend, Brad, & I drove to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, last night, then spent today looking at all the amazing airplanes at the gathering. My favorite was SpaceShipOne, and we arrived just in time to hear Mike Melville, the first commercial astronaut in space, speaking about his experiences! We listened for almost an hour, then walked for hours looking at vintage (World War II) and experimental aircraft. An awesome day!
