Kim's newest adventure
Kim left yesterday for Rome! She's on a two & 1/2 week trip with her Latin teachers from school. She's been looking forward to this for months, because they'll get to visit ancient sites they've been reading about. We heard from her this morning to let us know they made it to the place they'll be staying and all is well. With the time difference her e-mail to my cell phone woke me at 3:30 am our time, but we were glad to know she was there. The school almost cancelled the trip after last week's horrible attacks in London, but the kids and parents convinced the administration to let the students go.
