Google Tribute to Apollo 11
I've long raved about how clever the Google Doodler is, and woke to a pleasant surprise today to see his tribute to Apollo 11! They included a link:


"See what the astronauts saw on July 20, 1969. Try Google Moon."

You can view, using the Google Maps technology, photographs of the moon with links to the Apollo landing sites!

Update-A colleague pointed out that, if you zoom in all the way, there's something familiar about the surface of Google's "moon".....
