Presidential satire banned in California!
A poster depicting our president as Groucho Marx was banned from the El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, CA, because somone objected to the cigar! It took awhile to track down this image from the various on-line reports, but this shows the "offensive" picture which was created for a school play, "The Complete History of America (Abridged)". Apparently the students thought the original art work, depicting George Washington as Groucho, needed to be updated! I wonder if the school would have yanked it if our first president was shown with a cigar.....? Me thinks the cigar was just a smoke screen for the real issue!
