Microsoft ALREADY put a search engine in your computer!
Jon Udall, a columnist with the magazine Infoworld wrote in his web log Where was desktop search when we needed it? illustrating how you can use the tools built into Windows XP to actually find something.
The real feature here is that he illustrates his point using something he calls Screencasting, a way to display an on-line tutorial in a browser window. Cllick on this image (or the link from Udall's weblog) to SEE and HEAR him explain how to use this tool:
I've been blown away by Jon's use of this technology to combine voice and screen capture into educational training material, displayed as a Flash movie.
