Depressing prospects...
This week's issue of Fortune magazine has a cover article entitled "50 and Fired?" with the subtitle, "Permanent vacation?" The article talks about the challenges faced by 50+ professionals who are fired for "aging" and having trouble trying to reenter the work place! I found a lot of similarities in the article to what I've gone through over the past year and a half since I was cut. It's a harsh new reality in today's workplace. At least it's good to learn I'm not alone in my experiences!
