Friday Catblogging
I'd heard about the tradition of posting pictures of one's cat on Fridays but had held off succumbing until now. What the heck, it's a "slow news" week so here goes!

The picture above is one that my daughter, Sarah, took for photography class a few years ago. It shows Milo in his usual, regal pose. Click the smaller image above to view a bigger version.

If you're intrigued by this "Friday Catblogging" tradition on the web, or if you just have lots of time to kill, click the title link above to go to a blog search engine and search for that term. Here are a few cat blogging sites that I found interesting:

• Here's one with a cute picture of a cat "contributing" to it's author's blog
• A cat in a chair
• Here's one I could relate to: a "retired" Ph.D. research scientist ("Dr. Fly Killa", presumably a molecular biologist who studied the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster) who stayed home to raise her child but contributed some pictures of her cat
• And finally, here's one with a picture that looks eerily like our cat!

I hope you've enjoyed my first attempt at Friday Catblogging..... I'll get Milo to come look at it (he'll come around as soon as he's hungry!) and post his reaction another time. So far, his only reaction has been to stick his tail in my face and try to sit on the keyboard while I type this! TTFN
