When we in the town of Hanalei, near the northern end of Kaua'i on the way to see the Na Pali coast, Sarah & Kim stopped in a store to buy something and noticed that everyone was staring at Sarah.  She looked around and realized that she was standing in front of an actor (Dominic Monaghan) who was one of the Hobbits from the Lord of the Rings! Sarah & Kim were too shy to ask for an autograph, so Laurie did!  Laurie came back with the autograph, and said he was really nice and that he would probably let the girls pose for a picture with him.  We talked Sarah & Kim into asking, and he said "don't you want all THREE of us?!?"  It turned out he was there with Elijah Wood and Billy Boyd.  They graciously posed with the girls and chatted to us for a few minutes.
